Apparel & Accessories

GMDs Apparel & Accessories Collection features works from designers Elsa Schiaparelli and Issey Miyake to a Chinese Imperial Robe; from an assortment of beaded handbags to children’s shoes.

The breadth and depth of our collection has occurred with the help of many wonderful donors including the Friends of the Goldstein. The Apparel and Accesories Collection is a teaching collection serving as an important data source for the research of graduate and undergraduate students, as well as independent scholars. Students use the artifacts for design inspiration and research opportunities.

The Apparel & Accessories Collection is housed in climate controlled storage areas and is not on permanent public display.
